About Us

PRIN will use multi-stakeholder engagement to advance the field, elevate recovery science, and increase the impact of peer recovery support.

Who we are

The Peer Recovery Innovation Network (PRIN) was created to help expand recovery science by developing a research program on Peer Recovery Support Services (PRSS) and Recovery Support Services. Our network will achieve this by:

  • Setting a research agenda on peer recovery support that can serve as a resource for the healthcare and scientific communities.
  • Establishing the Recovery Science Collaboratory to create opportunities for scientists and community stakeholders to interact, connect, and accelerate innovation in recovery science.
  • Providing training and mentoring opportunities to rapidly expand the recovery science workforce.

We need to move towards a world where the research and our messaging our aligned…the fact is, recovery is more than just possible, it can be the expectation – so long as we provide them with the recovery support services that everyone should have immediate and direct access to.
