Help shape the future of recovery research

The Peer Recovery Innovation Network (PRIN) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio was created to help expand the science of recovery.

We are building a list of priorities to help guide future research on peer recovery support services.

Help set these recovery research priorities by sharing your perspective on what the future of recovery science should look like.

What is this survey and project about?

The research priorities on this survey were first identified by the External Advisory Board of the Peer Recovery Innovation Network (PRIN). The board members are recovery science experts, peer recovery experts, and addiction scientists. They were asked to think and rank (from least to most important) topics that should be investigated in the field of recovery science. If you’d like to know more about how the recovery experts ranked these priorities, please take a look at this document.

Why participate?

Even though we know that peer recovery support is effective, important knowledge gaps remain. To address this, it is essential that recovery research is driven and informed by people impacted by substance use, those living in recovery, and the peer recovery support workforce.

Your participation in this survey will help define the priorities for the future of recovery science.

How will we use the results?

Your feedback will contribute to the creation of a research agenda to drive PRIN’s activities. The results will also contribute to guiding future research efforts in the emerging field of recovery science.

Your information and responses will be kept confidential.
